Pesticide Use Data
In the United States, only California and Arizona require applicators to report pesticide usage, and the California database is public.
- California Pesticide Information Portal – CalPIP contains pesticide-use data back to 1990 and is searchable by county, ZIP code, crop, product, chemical name and whether the pesticide was used in an ag or non-ag setting. California Department of Pesticide Regulation.

- Pesticide Industry Sales and Usage – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency market estimates for 2008 to 2012.
- Agricultural Chemical Use Database – This National Agricultural Statistics Service site contains select pesticide-use data from 1990 to 2008.
- Pesticide Use Maps – The U.S. Geological Survey developed this site, which generates maps showing the estimated use of agricultural chemicals by county from 1992 to 2012, and provides preliminary use estimates through 2015.
- Pesticide Statistics – A convenient collection of pesticide statistics collected by the National Pesticide Information Center at Oregon State University.
